Hobbymailer began in 2002 selling a range of trackside accessories under the product range named Right Track.

Our mission is the provide modellers and others with high quality, innovative products that meet their hobby requirements.

Lawrie Copp

Modeller

Lawrie is the organisation’s sales and marketing manager. He is an enthusiastic modeller based in Waikanae, north of  Wellington in New Zealand.  Lawrie began modeling in 1995 and has a large HO layout in his garage. He built a helix to better use his available space has a car system  running around the perimeter.  Lawrie has been in retailing most of his working life and brings a wealth of experience to the team. He belongs to the Kapiti Coast  Model Railroad group.

Graeme Absalom

Modelmaker


Graeme is the organisation’s product developer and production manager. He is an enthusiastic woodworker and metalworker. Graeme has created or adapted many of the jigs and machines used for producing the group’s manufactured product range. He has a retrofitted CNC mill, a lathe, a laser cutter and the usual woodworking machines. Between times Graeme makes a range of clocks with wooden movements. He belongs to the Christchurch NZR and other scales model rail group.

Bryan Lawrence

Graphic artist and modeller

Bryan has been involved with modeling since the 1970s when he began collecting model railroad components. Bryan belongs to two layout groups; Telma and the One Track Mind modular group. As well as constructing locomotives and rolling stock Bryan puts his artistic talents to good use with scenicing, weathering and loco detailing. He is an accomplished photographer with many of his photographs finding their way into a variety of Railway journals either as part of articles or in advertisements for clients.

Bryan has designed the Righttrack advertising material and is involved with the design and finishing of the Righttrack product range.
